Blodeuwedd is a young druid apprentice with eyes too old for her face and a sensitivity to the Web that frightens even those who need her. She listens where others argue. She feels the roots tremble, senses corruption before it breaks the surface, and understands that the world is speaking in a language most have forgotten.
She is not ready for the burden placed upon her, which is what makes her courage matter. Blodeuwedd stands between ancient vows, failing wards, and a power that recognizes something in her. To the council she may be the last hope of the old druid line. To the Codex, she may be something far more dangerous: kin.
